The scent of pine creates a calm and inviting atmosphere from the moment you step inside the hotel.
On Christmas Eve, pretty Stockbridge is at its most peaceful. The River Test flows gently through the centre of the town, and the National Trust Stockbridge Marshes are moments from the hotel where you can work up an appetite for dinner before settling by the fire.
Christmas Day unfolds slowly with a hearty Hampshire breakfast. The highlight of the day is our generous four-course lunch, served with a glass of English sparkling wine. A leisurely walk might be in order, followed by a relaxed evening buffet for anyone feeling peckish.
